We Eat Water has collected recipes from around the world and has calculated their water footprint. In addition it includes a list of food items and their water footprint expressed in liters or kilos. The app costs 0.79 euros to download and in doing so you will be helping more people around the world to have access to the water they need to ensure they have enough food. All the money received will be assigned to projects on which the We Are Water Foundation, together with UNICEF, Intermón Oxfam, Fundación Vicente Ferrer and Educación sin Fronteras are currently working. Between 2008 and 2011 Roca wanted to build a series of iconic spaces to reflect its brand values, and represent it as the leading global bathroom brand.
 These new spaces were created by the internationally renowned architects and designers Carlos Ferrater, Carles Ferruz, Carlos Lamela and Zaha Hadid. The communication agency, architects, museum experts and sound and audio-visual companies all worked together on the project as part of a multidisciplinary team. Audio-visual and interactive installations were designed to be a means of communication in themselves. As well as being an innovative way to get up close and personal with customers, the Roca Galleries will benefit the cities in which they are located, by serving as spaces where culture and innovation can exist side by side. Located at José Abascal 57, this new space is on two floors and covers 1,200 m2. As in Barcelona, Tiempo BBDO has been responsible for all the audiovisual and interactive material and has contributed to the redesigning of the space. The project manager was the architects studio, Estudio Lamela. This new Roca Gallery is a showcase open to the whole city. In the display window there is an enormous heart, almost 4 metres high, made out of 3,212 small white porcelain hooks and the display contains five W+Ws. The projection of the audiovisual Rituals also gives the space a unique personality. The interior interactive space presents technical innovations and tools which allow the visitor to interact with the building and have a new brand experience. Race Two skippers, one boat and a non-stop round-the-world race. The Barcelona World Race is a unique regatta. There is no other race in the world which combines these three requirements. Jaume Mumbrú and Cali SanMartí took 132 days, 4 hours, 58 minutes and 32 seconds to complete the 46, 695 kilometres that make up the Barcelona World Race. Every 15 seconds a child dies from thirst or diseases related to water. Almost 2.5 million people in the world don't have access to drinking water and basic sanitation. The control of the supply of water will be one of the basic reasons for conflict this century. The official launch of the We Are Water foundation took place first in Spain. The cornerstone of the launch campaign was the documentary “Aral, the lost Sea”. It is the story of a sea which no longer exists, one of the greatest ever ecological disasters and shown in a documentary directed by Isabel Coixet. The documentary acted as the launching pad for the foundation and was presented at the San Sebastian International Film Festival on the 20th of September, 2010. It is narrated by the prestigious actor Sir Ben Kingsley, with music composed by the American actor and director, Tim Robbins. The documentary was presented as if it were a film première. Actors, directors, the audience and the media were united in this cause, thanks to the help of various NGO's and specific cooperative projects.
